No lawyer worth their salt would ever let us say our Ballroom® Jeans are tough enough to stop a circular saw, but when we get letters from #LuckySOBs thanking us for saving their limbs (or lives) we just can’t resist the urge to share their stories.

But before we do so, don’t try this at home. ALWAYS use power tools safely and wear proper safety gear, even when wearing Ballroom Jeans, because even though this guy got lucky our jeans are not designed to stop a circular saw.

Dear Duluth Trading Company,

First of all, I would like to thank you for producing a fine product that is no bull, the best jeans I have ever owned. I recently purchased a few pairs of Ballroom Jeans and wore a pair this past Sunday while doing some carpentry work on my fence. I had an accident with a Skilsaw that ripped into my leg. I attribute your durable jeans for saving my leg and my life.

The jeans were so strong the saw blade was only able to cause superficial damage to my right thigh… meaning just a few layers of skin that 14 staples fixed. I attribute the fact that the blade was not able to hit my muscle or femoral artery because of these jeans that I was up and walking around the next day.

I really do believe that if I was wearing a pair of average jeans I would have lost my leg.

My family and I would like to thank you for such a great product.

Sincerely,

Matt K.
